I love smoothies —using different ingredients everyday to make something interesting depending on my mood. Dona Chai is a great additive to the mix. Check out 4 recipes below.

Double Chocolate
Ginger Gold Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder

  • 1 tbsp DONA Turmeric

  • 1/2 tsp fresh chopped ginger

  • 1 small frozen saba banana

  • 3/4 cup coconut milk

  • 1 tsp fresh grated orange zest

  • scoop of ice


DIRECTIONS:

  • blend all ingredients until smooth

  • Top with sprinkle of turmeric + dried banana chips or cacao nibs


 

Chocolate Peanut Butter
Chai Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 scoop peanut butter protein powder

  • 1 small frozen saba banana

  • 1/2 tsp fresh chopped ginger

  • 1 tbsp DONA Masala Chai

  • 3/4 cup coconut milk

  • cinnamon to taste

  • scoop of ice


DIRECTIONS

  • blend all ingredients until smooth

  • Top with sprinkle of cinnamon + candied ginger


 

Peanut Butter
Turmeric Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 scoop peanut butter protein powder

  • 1 small frozen saba banana

  • 1/2 tsp fresh chopped ginger

  • 1 tbsp DONA Turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric

  • fresh lemon zest

  • 3/4 cup alternative milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • scoop of ice



DIRECTIONS

  • blend all ingredients until smooth

  • Top with dried coconut.


Spicy Banana Chocolate
Chai Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder

  • 1 tbsp DONA Masala Chai

  • 1 small frozen saba banana

  • 3/4 cup coconut milk

  • 1 tsp fresh grated lime zest

  • ½ tsp of Trader Joe's chili lime salt

  • scoop of ice


DIRECTIONS

  • blend all ingredients until smooth

  • Top with sprinkle of chili lime salt
