Ghee & CCF Tea
Ghee is my favorite nutty thing … clarified butter. Most call for unsalted but I like the salt that becomes the crunchy brown bits on the bottom of the pot. Recipe is above. All you need is butter and a keen smell for nuttiness. Use on everything — my fav is slow roasted Japanese sweet potatoes and stirring it into oatmeal for breakfast with a few seaweed flakes.
CCC tea: cumin, coriander, fennel. Toast the whole seeds until yep, nutty again. Add boiling water. Allow to simmer. Strain. Delicious. Settles mind, tummy and the rest.
